We want to extend a thank you to ExxonMobil, who provided us with a $500 Grant for Science and Math education. Thank you to Dirk Dimitri at our nearby Exxon and Erwin Oil! We are gearing up to offer a host of clubs for our K-8 students. These clubs will run on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:45 starting on April 18th for six weeks and will cost $135 per student. You can read more about TEK and potential club offerings, but please know our teachers will be offering many of their own unique clubs. More information will be coming soon.

Rising Sixth-Grade Registration: The counseling department will be holding a parent information session on Tuesday, March 28th, from 8:30-9:30 am in the Media Center to address the transition to middle school and to answer questions regarding the registration process. We hope you can join us.
Why I Teach: Mrs. Maria Eby teaches sixth-grade math and is excited to share with you this week.
Marc Anthony put it well when he said, “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.” I teach because there is no greater honor than helping another human being discover his/her own greatness and how to use it to contribute to the world. Not a day goes by that I am not inspired by the creativity, curiosity, and kindness of the students I teach. It is so rewarding to know that I provide students with the opportunity to attain the knowledge that will empower them to reach their goals throughout their lives. For me, teaching is not work: It is a privilege.
